The Barren River Area Hazard Mitigation Council is currently engaged in a regional planning process to become less vulnerable to disasters, and your participation is important to us!
Our 10 county region is working together to update our Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan. The purpose of the Plan is to identify and assess our region's disaster risks and determine how to best minimize or manage those risks. Upon completion, the Plan will be presented to each local governing body for adoption and then submitted to the Kentucky Division of Emergency Management and Federal Emergency Management Agency for review and approval.
This survey questionnaire provides an opportunity for you to share your opinions and participate in the mitigation planning process. The information you provide will help us better understand your hazard concerns and can lead to activities that should help reduce the impact of future hazardous events.
